There’s simply nothing like a cozy cup of coffee on a crisp fall morning.
As long as it’s not ruined by spending $6 at the coffee shop for it.
Why bother with that when you can easily make it at home for a fraction of the price? Plus, you can make it with whole ingredients and none of the junky additives and sweeteners.
For most of my fall morning coffee moments, I make my bone broth pumpkin spice latte. But if you’re looking for a quick and healthy homemade alternative to store-bought pumpkin spice creamer for every day, this is it.

ingredients for maple pumpkin coffee creamer
- milk – You want a thick, rich milk for your creamer so I recommend either half-and-half, whole milk, or a rich dairy-free milk alternative. Some of my favorites are coconut, macadamia, or cashew milk.
- pumpkin purée – You can most definitely roast and purée pumpkins for this, but if you’re using canned pumpkin purée, just make sure that it’s 100% pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling.
- maple syrup – There’s no need for artificial flavoring or sweeteners when using real maple syrup. Make sure it’s 100% pure grade A maple syrup – that should be the only ingredient listed. Use as much or as little as you like based on how sweet you like your creamer.
- vanilla extract – It’s the secret ingredient that makes this creamer taste so decadent without being overly sweet. Again, make sure it’s pure vanilla extract. We only want the good stuff here.
- pumpkin pie spice – you most definitely can use a store-bought spice blend or check out the notes in the recipe card for how to make your own pumpkin spice blend if you don’t have any on hand.
- sea salt – You always need a little salt to balance out all the flavors and sweetness.
